The Spiderweb Obsidian in this sterling silver cuff is a lovely dark blue-gray with fine light gray lines running through it. I created the cuff to play on the web image. The cuff is made of two layers. The bottom layer is sterling silver. The top layer is fine silver (.999 silver), into which I sawed fine lines. The two layers are soldered together. The fine web lines are darkened, while the surface has a brushed satin finish.

Although the cuff has been hammered in order to harden the metal, it can become misshapen if it is stretched or squeezed. Please see Caring for your Cuff for more information on how to successfully adjust the size (but only by about 1/4 inch) and care for your cuff bracelet.

SIZE: This cuff has an inside circumference of about 6 1/2 inches. It can be slightly adjusted but no more than 1/4 inch and once it's adjusted it should not be done again. The cuff band is 1/2 inch wide and about 1.5mm thick. Please see last photo for inside diameter measurements. The stone measures about 20mm (3/4 inch) in diameter.

MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Fine Silver, Spiderweb Obsidian

PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources): Obsidian in general is said to remove negativity and to strengthen creative energy. It is supposed to help ground one to the Earth's energies. Spiderweb Obsidian is said to give strength in times of need, and is supposed to help reduce stress.
