These fun and just a bit rustic little earrings each start with a rectangle of sterling silver. I hammered for a subtle texture and rounded the corners. I then soldered a couple of stamped, curved copper leaves on them, and antiqued and polished them. To add a bit of color and give the earrings a summery vibe, I added a dangling pressed red Czech glass flower to each one. The ear wires are Niobium, which is considered one of the least allergenic metals.
SIZE: These earrings measure just under 1 3/4 inches long. The top rectangles are just under 1/2 inch wide. Each earring weighs about 1 gram.
MATERIALS: Sterling silver, Copper, Czech glass, Niobium
