This beautiful Owyhee Jasper (from southwestern Oregon) looks like a wetland scene, in that perfect golden time of late afternoon when everything looks magical. I used the wetlands theme in my design, surrounding the stone with copper grasses and a cattail. I added a heron standing behind the stone, hoping to find an evening snack in the shallow waters. 

The setting is sterling silver. The leaves are copper; the cattail is bronze with silver dust sprinkled and melted at the top. The bail is hand cut and riveted. This pendant is sold without a chain - the chain shown in the photos is for display only.

Lapidary work is by Keith Dull of Summit Cabochons.

SIZE: This pendant measures about 2 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide. It is sold without a chain.
