These earrings each feature a deep red faceted Czech glass bead. Soft orange stripes and green speckles add a bit of rustic beauty. I added a little faceted Garnet bead above each Czech glass bead, and dangled a copper leaf below. The copper leaves were hand cut and curved, and then antiqued and polished. The wires used are copper. The ear wires are Niobium, which is considered one of the least allergenic metals.
SIZE: These earrings hang about 2 1/4 inches. Each earring weighs between 1 and 2 grams.
MATERIALS: Czech glass, Garnet, Copper, Niobium
PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources): Garnet is supposed to be a stone of regeneration and stability. It is said to boost the entire system’s energy and bring inner strength as well as being a stone of romantic love and passion. Garnet is January's birthstone.
