Larimar Earrings, Sterling Silver with Waves

Carry a bit of tropcal ocean around with you when you wear these silver larimar earrings. These are cut in an airy tear drop shape with a round larimar cabochon at the bottom. I added texture to the background by melting silver dust and then sanding. This glistens in the light like the foam along the edge of the ocean waves. A polished wave is about to crash down on the larimar. The ear wires are hand made with sterling silver wire, and have a spiral above the earring.

SIZE: The earrings hang about 1 7/8 inches and are about 1/2 inch wide at the bottom. The larimar cabochons measure about 8mm in diameter.

PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources):   Larimar is found in only one place - the Dominican Republic. It is said to help relieve stress and calms anxiety. It is supposed to help one to have an open mind during change, and to support peace, clarity, healing and love.
