This beautiful little Australian opal deserved a simple setting to show off its fire and flash, which shows greens, oranges and reds that change and move as the light and surroundings change. The setting is sterling silver, on which I fused silver powder. After sanding and polishing, the sparkly texture that was created mimics the flash in the stone. I put a scalloped bezel around the stone, and added a riveted bail. This delicate pendant will dress up anything you might wear with it, but won't overwhelm as a larger pendant might. This pendant comes with an 18 inch snake chain.
