This rustic scarf or shawl pin is the perfect way to hold a light casual shawl together on those cooler summer evenings. Or... tighten up a snug woolly scarf on really cold winter days. This pin or fibula is made of copper, which has been hammered for texture. I then antiqued the copper and polished it to bring out the texture. The pin is copper wire with a shepard's crook loop at one end. The "pointy" end is rounded so it won't cut the threads of the shawl. This is meant for loosely woven or knit cloth where the pin can slide through holes in the weave.
