The Charoite stone in this ring is colored with a variety of light to medium purples and a few black speckles. It is set in sterling and fine silver. The band is double layered. The top layer is hammered to give a subtle texture that mimics the patterns in the stone.
SIZE: This ring is US size 6 1/4. The band measures about 1/4 inch wide and about 2mm thick. The Charoite stone measures about 7/8 by 5/8 inches. The stone stands up from the right a bit higher than some; it is about 1/4 inch high.

PROPERTIES OF STONES (information compiled from various sources): Charoite comes from only one place in the world: Sakha Republic in Siberia, Russia. It is named after the Chara River. It is said to reduce stress and worry. It is supposed to improve sleep, keep away nightmares and turn negative energy into healing.
